C’est le un juin:

Bleeding Slope of Semen

There is serenity in death. Death made pregnant by infiltration of peace. There is wander that leads to the thought that is empty; but how when emptiness exists therein; For how is there emptiness in an empty thought. Where desire for respiration and obstruction of life’s wind become one. And the silence of death is the unique existence of peace. And life is satisfied, death- in agreement.

Thoughts by: ~ cats_on_cats_on_cats :

Serenity invokes a sense of thoughtlessness, not carelessness, and not mindless wandering; rather it is something empty, but with a feeling of contentment.

  1. I found this post to be loaded with deep thought and enlightened awareness of the most serious fear we face as human being: the fear of death. Your expression of the contentment and serenity experienced in death is a view I perhaps had not realized prior. This post is very artistic and philosophical. I like your choice of photographs, they provide an elaboration on the theme and tone of the post. While short, the narrative you created is clear, concise, and achieves the message seemingly sought. I feel as though the color scheme chosen for this blog relieves the reader of some of the heavier emotions experienced by the post. The bright purples and greens add a positive air to it. The text contrasts well with the background, it is easy to read while not taking away from the strength of the layout. I really like the title of your blog, “Je Suis Quoi, what am I”. It provides a precursor to the exploratory thought the reader is about to embark on and prompts reflects on self-definition. I found myself with many mixed feelings upon reading your narrative, something I don’t often experience and something I am appreciative to have spent time reflecting on. Words are powerful things, they have the ability to provoke thought and feeling, prompt action and change, positive and negative, serious and not so serious. One thing I would change about the post is to make the picture of focus larger, maybe center it as well. The title Bleeding Slope of Semen is a little unclear to me in its relation to the post, but I accept that a reader may not always be able to decipher 100% of the author’s intent in word choice. I really like the phrase you use “circumambient deconstruction”, It gives me a sense of challenge, of breaking down barriers of meaning and understanding.
